Signing a Card

Signing a GreetingCardify card is simple and takes just a few minutes. When someone shares a card with you, you'll receive a signing link via email, Slack, or another channel.

Signing Steps

1. Open the Link: Click the signing link you received
2. Enter Your Name: This appears with your signature in the card
3. Write Your Message: Add your personal message to the recipient
4. Add Media (Optional): Upload photos or add GIFs to make your signature special
5. Preview: See how your signature will look in the card
6. Submit: Click "Add Signature" to save your message

Your signature is added immediately and the card creator will be notified. You can edit your signature anytime before the card is delivered by using the same signing link.

Make your signature memorable by adding photos or animated GIFs. Visual elements add personality and make the card more engaging for the recipient.

Adding Photos

Click the photo icon in the signature editor to upload images from your device. Supported formats include JPG, PNG, and HEIC. Photos are automatically optimized for web viewing while maintaining quality.

Photo Tips:

• Use high-quality images for best results
• Landscape orientation works best for most card layouts
• Keep file sizes under 10MB for faster uploads
• You can add up to 3 photos per signature

Adding GIFs

Click the GIF icon to search our integrated GIF library powered by GIPHY. Search by keyword, emotion, or browse trending GIFs. GIFs add humor and emotion to your message.

GIF Best Practices:

• Choose GIFs that match your message tone
• Keep it appropriate for the occasion and recipient
• Preview before adding to ensure it loops smoothly

You don't need a GreetingCardify account to sign a card. Guest signing makes it easy for anyone to participate, regardless of whether they're registered users.

Guest Signing Process

When you open a signing link as a guest, you'll be taken directly to the signature editor. Simply enter your name, write your message, and submit. No registration, no login required.

Guest Limitations

Guest signers have a few minor limitations compared to registered users:

• Cannot view other signatures until the card is delivered
• Must use the original signing link to edit their signature
• No signature history or dashboard access

Creating an Account Later

If you sign as a guest and later create an account with the same email address, your signature history will be automatically linked to your account. This gives you access to all the cards you've signed.
