Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to GreetingCardify. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and GreetingCardify Ltd ("we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in the United Kingdom.

Account Registration

To access certain features of our Services, you must create an account. When you register, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Keep your password secure and confidential (you are responsible for all activities under your account)
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be at least 13 years old (or have parental consent)

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are inactive for extended periods.

You may not create multiple accounts, use another person's account without permission, or transfer your account to another person without our written consent.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

Prohibited Content

  • Upload, post, or transmit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
  • Share content that infringes on intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any party
  • Post content containing viruses, malware, or other harmful code
  • Share sexually explicit, violent, or discriminatory content
  • Impersonate any person or entity

Prohibited Activities

  • Use the Services for any commercial purpose without our written permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers/networks connected to the Services
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Services without permission
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services
  • Spam, phish, or engage in fraudulent activities
  • Collect or harvest personal information about other users

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these policies, without prior notice.

Content Ownership

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or share through our Services ("Your Content"). This includes messages, photos, signatures, and other materials you add to greeting cards.

By uploading Your Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our Services.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to all content you upload, and that Your Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

Shared Cards

When you create a group greeting card, you understand that other signers and the recipient will have access to the card content. You are responsible for managing access and sharing settings for cards you create.

AI-Generated Content

Content generated using our AI features is provided "as is." While you may use AI-generated content in your cards, we do not guarantee originality or freedom from third-party rights. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before use.

Payment Terms

Certain features and services require payment. By making a purchase, you agree to the following:

Pricing

  • All prices are displayed in the currency specified at checkout
  • Prices are subject to change, but changes will not affect existing orders
  • Applicable taxes will be added at checkout

Payment Processing

  • Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider (Stripe)
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred
  • You are responsible for providing accurate payment information

Refunds

  • Digital products (delivered cards) are generally non-refundable
  • Refunds may be issued at our discretion for technical issues or service failures
  • To request a refund, contact us within 14 days of purchase

Subscription & Cancellation

Subscription Plans

We offer subscription plans that provide access to premium features. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay the subscription fee at the beginning of each billing cycle
  • Automatic renewal unless you cancel before the next billing date
  • Price changes with 30 days' notice (existing subscribers are grandfathered for one billing cycle)

Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
  • You retain access to premium features until the end of your paid period

Free Trials

Free trials may be offered for new subscribers. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for a subscription. We will notify you before charging your payment method.

Intellectual Property

The Services, including all content, features, functionality, and design, are owned by GreetingCardify Ltd and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Our Trademarks

"GreetingCardify," our logo, and other marks are trademarks of GreetingCardify Ltd. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written permission.

Card Designs

All card designs, templates, and graphics available through our Services are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense our designs
  • Use our designs in commercial products or services
  • Remove or modify copyright notices or attribution from our designs

Third-Party Content

Some designs and content may be provided by third-party creators. Such content is subject to the creator's license terms and our agreements with them.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties of non-infringement
  • Warranties that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content

We do not warrant that the Services will meet your requirements or that any defects will be corrected. You use the Services at your own risk.

We are not responsible for delays or failures in card delivery caused by technical issues, email filtering, or recipient actions.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GREETINGCARDIFY LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO:

  • Your use or inability to use the Services
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or your data
  • Any interruption or cessation of the Services
  • Any bugs, viruses, or harmful code transmitted through the Services
  • Any errors or omissions in content
  • Any conduct or content of third parties

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR £100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
  • Notify you via email or through a prominent notice on our website for material changes
  • Provide at least 30 days' notice for changes that materially affect your rights

Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Services and may cancel your account.
