Our Commitment
GreetingCardify is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure our services are accessible to all users.
We believe that everyone should be able to create, sign, and share greeting cards, regardless of their abilities or the technologies they use. Accessibility is not just a legal requirement for usβit's a core value that guides our design and development decisions.
This statement reflects our ongoing efforts to make GreetingCardify accessible and usable for the widest possible audience.
Accessibility Standards
GreetingCardify aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more usable for everyone.

- EU Web Accessibility Directive: Standards for digital accessibility in the European Union

Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
GreetingCardify is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
What This Means
We have made significant efforts to ensure our website meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. However, we acknowledge that some areas may not yet be fully compliant, particularly:
- Some third-party content and integrations (payment processors, AI features)
- User-generated content (cards created by users may not meet accessibility standards)
- Legacy features that are being updated
We are actively working to address these limitations and achieve full conformance.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, there are some known accessibility limitations:
User-Generated Content
Cards created by users may not meet accessibility standards. For example:
- Images uploaded by users may lack alternative text
- User-written messages may not follow plain language guidelines
- Color combinations chosen by users may have insufficient contrast
We provide guidance and tools to help users create accessible content, but we cannot guarantee the accessibility of all user-generated content.
Third-Party Services
Some features rely on third-party services that may have their own accessibility limitations:
- Payment processing interfaces (Stripe)
- Social media sharing widgets
- AI-generated content (may require manual review)
Complex Interactions
Some advanced features may be challenging for users with certain disabilities:
- Card customization tools (drag-and-drop, color pickers) may be difficult to use with assistive technologies
- Real-time collaboration features may not announce all updates to screen readers
We are working to improve these areas and welcome feedback on how to make them more accessible.
